A quick and easy no-cook dessert featuring ripe peach slices paired with silky whipped cream, perfect for summer gatherings and last-minute sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 to 5 medium ripe peaches, sliced into thick wedges
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons powdered sugar, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Optional toppings: toasted sliced almonds, fresh mint leaves, drizzle of honey

Instructions

  1. Rinse peaches under cool water and pat dry. Slice each peach into thick wedges, keeping the skin on. Transfer to a medium bowl and sprinkle with fresh lemon juice. Toss gently to coat and set aside.
  2. Chill mixing bowl and beaters in the fridge for about 10 minutes before whipping the cream.
  3. Pour chilled heavy whipping cream into the cold bowl. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, about 3 to 5 minutes. Avoid overwhipping.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peaches in the bowl, keeping the peaches juicy and coated.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle toasted sliced almonds or fresh mint leaves on top, and drizzle honey if desired.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for up to 2 hours before serving. Avoid leaving overnight.

Notes

Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture. Chill bowl and cream for fluffier whipped cream. Serve within 2 hours for optimal freshness. Optional substitutions include coconut cream for dairy-free version and nectarines or plums if peaches are out of season.
