A quick and festive no-bake dessert featuring layers of creamy cheesecake, juicy strawberries, and crunchy graham cracker crumbs, perfect for summer parties and patriotic celebrations.

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 12 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Stir until evenly coated and press a spoonful into the bottom of each trifle cup to form a base. Set aside.
  2. Toss sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and lemon juice in another bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes to macerate.
  3. Using a mixer, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. In a separate chilled bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and airy.
  5. Assemble trifle cups by layering cheesecake mixture over graham cracker base (about 2 tablespoons per cup), then spoon a layer of macerated strawberries with syrup. Repeat layers if cups are tall enough, finishing with strawberries on top.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally 4, to let flavors meld and layers set.
  7. Before serving, optionally garnish with fresh mint leaves or whole strawberries.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth mixing. Chill bowl and beaters before whipping cream for best volume. Macerate strawberries to intensify flavor and juiciness. Avoid overmixing whipped cream to prevent graininess. Can be made ahead and chilled for better flavor melding. For dairy-free, substitute cream cheese and heavy cream with vegan alternatives. Graham cracker crumbs can be replaced with digestive biscuits or gluten-free cookie crumbs.
