A quick and healthy snack featuring crisp apple rounds drizzled with creamy Greek yogurt and cinnamon, perfect for little hands and busy afternoons.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala recommended)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granola (optional, low-sugar)
  • Optional toppings: shredded coconut, raisins, dark chocolate chips, chopped nuts, nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples.
  2. Core the apples using an apple corer or a sharp knife.
  3. Slice the apples crosswise into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Arrange the apple rounds on a serving plate in a single layer.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and cinnamon. Stir until smooth.
  6. Drizzle the yogurt mixture over the apple rounds in a zigzag pattern.
  7. Sprinkle granola and any other desired toppings over the yogurt while it is still wet.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

Do not slice apples too far in advance to prevent browning. For dairy-free, use thick coconut or cashew yogurt. For nut-free, skip granola or use seed-based granola. Best served immediately; leftovers do not store well.
