This creamy, cheesy buffalo chicken dip features a fun spider web design made with sour cream. It’s kid-friendly, quick to make, and perfect for game day or Halloween parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Tortilla chips or celery sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese until evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish and spread into an even layer.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until hot and bubbly around the edges.
  6. While the dip bakes, spoon the sour cream into a piping bag or small zip-top bag. Snip off a tiny corner.
  7. Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Pipe concentric circles of sour cream on the dip, then drag a toothpick from the center outward to create a spider web pattern.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions if using.
  10. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or celery sticks.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps. Let dip cool slightly before piping sour cream to prevent melting. For a milder version, reduce buffalo sauce to 1/4 cup and add extra ranch. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 4 days.
